Gothic re-imagines the Inner Sphere in a new, grimdark light. Insane experiments in cybernetics and biology have led to the development of Abominations, mutated creatures of flesh and steel capable of competing with BattleMechs on the battlefield. The Great Houses have been reforged into familiar, yet alien, entities that wage a perpetual war against one another in order to claim the entirety of the Human Sphere as their own!
